they had a native religion . the worshiped multiple gods . However a new religion was forming in mesopotamia it was called judaism . This was totally new to the people of mesopotamia because this new religion only worshiped one god but their old religion worshiped many gods . this might have affected them because of the choice . they were trying to decide which religion to choose . some of their friend might have told them to join judaism but other stick with their normal religion .
4.Write a short summary about the music of the civilization
The musical instruments in mesopotamia were harp , reed pipe , drums, lyre , and the lute . They all seem to be calmer instruments from what i learned i think the music must be nice relaxing music . They had dancers dance while they played the music kind of like a ballet but with live music and the dancers used clappers . The royal family got to celebrate the births to their families with music . I think that their music was important to them because it can help show their feelings about their history . Their instruments must have been really important because they washed their hands before play . They believe it purifies their instruments . They mostly only played at celebrations . Except for the assyrians they only played and celebrated when they were home from war . Before the judaism most of them worshiped more than one God . But then judaism and other religions came in and some people switched and decided to worship only one god . All in all the music history is really interesting . I never thought how important music was to cultures . please listen to my song .
