Summary

The Mesopotamians had a lot of great ideas and they came up with some things like cylinder seals. Cylinder seals are these things they made out of clay probably found in nearby lakes or rivers. They would use the seals similar to stamps to show that a document was official. The seals would have pictures or stories on them. Also they created cuneiform which was one of the first known forms of writing. They would write documents and stories using cuneiform. The Mesopotamians made a lot of jewelry and pottery. The upper class wore jewelry all the time and they had jewelry made from gold. The middle and lower class didn’t wear jewelry as much but they had some jewelry made from clay. The Mesopotamians also made a lot of pottery. The Mesopotamians were very artistic.
